Man arrested after search warrants served in Stark County narcotics investigation

Authorities say agents located and seized approximately seven ounces of a fentanyl-related compound, an undisclosed amount of U.S. currency and a firearm.

CANTON, Ohio — Arrests were made in a Stark County narcotics investigation on Thursday, the Stark County Sheriff’s Office Metro Narcotics Unit announced.

Several warrants were served in connection with an extensive drug trafficking investigation. The warrants were served at a residence in the 2100 block of 3rd Street SE as well as a residence in the 900 block of 14th Street NW in Canton, according to authorities.

A press release from authorities says agents located and seized approximately seven ounces of a fentanyl-related compound, an undisclosed amount of U.S. currency and a firearm.

Oscar Todd, a 36-year-old man, was arrested without incident at the address on 14th Street NW. He was charged with one felony count of Trafficking in Drugs, authorities said.
