ArtsNow creates online calendar of streaming events in Summit County

SummitLive365 will alert residents of virtual events happening in their community.

AKRON, Ohio — Supporting small business during this time is incredibly important, and that includes art.

Luckily, Summit Co. has made it easy to support local artists and educators by creating a list of events in the community in the coming weeks and months.

SummitLive365 will now feature it’s own section specifically dedicated to online lessons and arts.

“Our top priority is the safety and wellness of our community,” said ArtsNow executive director, Nicole Mullet, “our arts and culture sector did what they do best—they innovated new ways to inspire, create and engage the community—offering solace and healing, and assisting our community in combating the negative mental and physical impacts of isolation during these times.”

The calendar features events from individuals as well as well established groups like: The Akron Civic Theatre, The Akron Children’s Museum, and The Akron Zoo.
