BATH, Ohio — Bath Elementary School has been evacuated because of a bomb threat, the city said in a Facebook post.
School officials received the threat in a voicemail just before 5:30 p.m. Monday, describing it as a "non-specific threat of harming school property with an explosive."
The Facebook post stated that the matter was still under investigation.
"As the Bath Township Police Department investigates this potential threat and out of an abundance of caution, students, faculty and staff were evacuated to conduct a thorough search of the building, along with other local and federal law enforcement partners."
