FAIRLAWN, Ohio — The Fairlawn Police Department has issued a statewide Missing Adult Alert for an endangered 75-year-old woman.
Brenda Jo Herring left a nursing home against medical advice on Friday, July 29, at around 1 p.m. Herring was picked up by her sister Barbara Wells on Wyant Road in Fairlawn, Ohio.
Law enforcement officials noted that Herring sufferers from dementia and diabetes, but doesn't have her medicine with her. Officials are concerned for her safety.
The 75-year-old woman is described as a 5-foot-6-inch Black woman weighing 155 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes.
She usually wears black glasses and a gold bracelet.
Anyone with information on Herring's whereabouts or who has seen her is asked to call 911 or 1-888-637-1113.
