UNIONTOWN, Ohio — A suspect at the center of a week-long manhunt has been arrested, according to the Summit County Sheriff's Office.
On Sunday, the Summit County Sheriff's Office identified the suspect as 48-year-old Akron man Raymond Klisz. He is charged with possessing weapons under disability, violation of a protection order, inducing panic, menacing and criminal mischief.
According to the sheriff's office, Klisz had allegedly been involved in an altercation with another at a home in the Summit County city of Green, allegedly violating an order of protection against him. Authorities say he ran into a wooded area when deputies arrived.
Klisz later allegedly fled near a Uniontown Community Park, forcing the evacuation of the park and a plea from Uniontown police for area residents to stay inside and lock their doors.
Klisz was booked into the Summit County Jail
The sheriff's office provided the update on their Facebook page with no additional details.
