CUYAHOGA FALLS, Ohio — One lucky lottery player is taking home big money after recently hitting a top prize worth $500,000 on a scratch-off ticket.
Ohio Lottery officials say the winner -- identified as Clarence from Akron -- hit the big prize while playing “The Most Wonderful Time of the Year” scratch-off game.
The winning ticket was sold at the Giant Eagle store at 230 Howe Avenue in Cuyahoga Falls, lottery officials said.
“After mandatory state and federal tax totaling 28 percent, Clarence will receive $360,000,” according to a press release from the Ohio Lottery.
Feeling lucky? Ohio Lottery officials say “The Most Wonderful Time of the Year” game still has two more top prizes worth $500,000 out there waiting to be won.
