Although nobody hit the $30 million jackpot in the Mega Millions lottery drawing for Friday, Oct. 21, 2022, there were still plenty of people who won smaller prizes throughout Ohio.
The Ohio Lottery says there were different winning tickets sold in the state with varying prizes, as listed below...
$1,000 prize: 1 winner
$500 prize: 5 winners
$400 prize: 9 winners
$200 prize: 7 winners
$20 prize: 303 winners
$10 prize: 682 winners
$8 prize: 1,095 winners
$4 prize: 5,681 winners
$2 prize: 6,718 winners
The winning numbers in the Friday night drawing are 34, 36, 43, 45, 68 and Mega Ball 22. The Megaplier is 2x.
The Mega Millions jackpot now grows to an estimated $45 million, which features a cash option worth $21.4 million. The next drawing will take place on Tuesday, Oct. 25, at 11 p.m.
Just last week, two winning tickets sold in California and Florida hit the $494 million jackpot.
Mega Millions lottery officials say the odds of hitting the jackpot are one in 302,575,350. The odds of hitting a $1 million winning ticket are listed at one in 12,607,306.
