Man hits $500,000 prize on 40th birthday from Ohio Lottery scratch-off ticket: See where the lucky ticket was sold

FINDLAY, Ohio — Talk about a huge birthday surprise!

A Findlay man won $500,000 on a scratch-off ticket while recently celebrating his 40th birthday.

The Ohio Lottery says he won the top prize in the Mega Multiplier game, which is a $10 scratch-off. He bought the lucky ticket at Speedway #5263 at 2001 Tiffin Ave. in Findlay.

“After mandatory federal and state taxes, he will receive approximately $360,000,” according to the Ohio Lottery.

The winner, who remains anonymous, plans to use his winnings to invest and go on a trip.
