CLEVELAND — Although nobody won the $170 million Powerball jackpot, there are many winners throughout Ohio who are taking home smaller prizes after the latest lottery drawing on Wednesday, Sept. 7, 2022.
The Ohio Lottery says there were 9,446 different winning tickets sold in the state with varying prizes as listed below…
- $300 prize: 8 winners
- $100 prize: 23 winners
- $21 prize: 284 winners
- $12 prize: 2,658 winners
- $7 prize: 577 winners
- $4 prize: 5,896 winners
There were two $1 million winners, however, in New York and Texas.
The winning Powerball numbers were 3, 16, 30, 33, 36 with Powerball 20. The upcharge Power Play option was 3x.
The jackpot now grows to an estimated $186 million, which features a cash option worth $102.6 million. The next Powerball lottery drawing will take place at 11 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 10.
Powerball lottery officials say the odds of hitting the jackpot are one in 292,201,338.00, which is slightly better than the Mega Millions odds of one in 302,575,350. The odds of hitting a $1 million winning ticket in Powerball, meanwhile, are one in 11,688,053.52.
