CLEVELAND — A Northeast Ohio lottery player has some extra cash in their pocket after buying a scratch-off ticket at a Lorain County convenience store.
According to a release from the Ohio Lottery, the winner bought a ticket worth $10,000 at Brownies Market on East Lake Road in Sheffield Lake. The ticket was for the lottery's 50th Anniversary game.
The lucky winner will take home about $7,200 after state and federal taxes totaling 28%.
