CLEVELAND — Businesses and organizations across Northeast Ohio are continuing their efforts to help those affected by the Russian invasion of Ukraine.
On Wednesday evening, the Roosevelt Post 58 of the Polish Legion of American Veterans in Cleveland's Tremont neighborhood will host a "Pierogi for Peace" event "in support of the Ukrainian people in these trying times." All proceeds from the gathering will go to Razom for Ukraine, which provides humanitarian supplies to refugees of the war in Eastern Europe.
Attendees will receive a full pierogi and kielbasa dinner with borscht. In addition, there will also be live music and and a raffle featuring prize baskets provided by local businesses.
Tickets are $25 per person. The event lasts from 6-10 p.m. inside Post 58's upstairs hall on Professor Avenue.
