3News visits Shaw High School in East Cleveland for Friday Football Fever: Watch the highlights

Friday Football Fever will continue throughout the high school football season as we feature a different school every Friday morning from 5-7 a.m.

EAST CLEVELAND, Ohio — We're back with our next edition of Friday Football Fever on WKYC as 3News' David Greenberg was live from East Cleveland with the Shaw High School Mighty Cardinal Marching Band.

We featured the band throughout the morning, which is working to raise money for a trip to Hawaii where they've been invited to the 2024 Pearl Harbor Memorial Parade in Honolulu.

"With scholars spanning grades five through 12, this will truly be a life-changing experience incorporating history, service and an incredible cultural exchange," according to their fundraising page. "Without a doubt, Shaw Band will bring an incredible performance to the island! Even more importantly, students will gain a depth of understanding and fervor for service far beyond what they have currently experienced. Students will not have the ability to enjoy this opportunity without support. Please consider giving to our hard-working students!"
