CLEVELAND — As the Cavaliers look to get back to the postseason, the focus is now on the preseason, with the team unveiling its 2023 exhibition schedule on Monday.
The four-game slate begins Oct. 10 on the road against the Atlanta Hawks, with tipoff set for 7:30 p.m. All remaining contests will start at 7 p.m., including a pair of home games on Oct. 12 and 16.

The Cavs will welcome the Orlando Magic to Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse on that first date, and four days later will take on Maccabi Ra'anana from Israel's second tier of professional basketball. It will be the first time since 2019 that Cleveland has played an international team in the preseason.
The exhibition schedule concludes on Oct. 20 at the Indiana Pacers, with the regular season expected to start soon after. The NBA has not yet released the full 82-game allotment for any of its 30 teams.
The Cavaliers are coming off a 51-31 season that saw them make the playoffs for the first time in five years thanks to All-Star Donovan Mitchell. Unfortunately, they were bounced from the first round in five games by the New York Knicks, so this offseason the club looked to upgrade its bench by signing Georges Niang and Max Strus in free agency. Cedi Osman and Lamar Stevens were also traded away.
