Watch: Cleveland Browns owner Jimmy Haslam celebrates Cade York's game-winning kick vs. Carolina Panthers

Cleveland Browns owner Jimmy Haslam was fired up following Cade York's game-winning field goal vs. the Carolina Panthers.

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — For the first time since Jimmy Haslam purchased the franchise a decade ago, the Cleveland Browns are 1-0.

And suffice to say, the Browns' managing and principal partner is fired up.

So much so that 3News cameras captured an excited Haslam fist pumping after Cade York's 58-yard game-winning field goal vs. the Carolina Panthers on Sunday. The field goal, which came with eight seconds remaining in the fourth quarter, gave Cleveland a 26-24 victory and the Browns' first Week 1 win since the 2004 season.

In addition to it being Cleveland's first Week 1 win as the Browns' owner, Sunday's win may have had some extra meaning to Haslam as it came against his team's former quarterback, Baker Mayfield. Following the victory, Haslam's son-in-law, JW Johnson -- who can be seen celebrating in the background behind Haslam -- took to Twitter to poke fun at Mayfield.

"YES! HUGE TEAM WIN!! 1-0 #Browns. The locker was Off The Leash. #CFB," tweeted Johnson, who serves as an executive vice president and partner for the team.

Johnson's "Off the Leash" comment was a not-so-subtle reference to the officially licensed t-shirts that Mayfield released ahead of the Week 1 contest. The limited edition t-shirt, which was produced by Glory Days Apparel and retailed for $38, depicts a smiling Mayfield in a cowboy hat and the phrase "Off the Leash," along with a broken dog collar, which seems like an obvious reference to the Browns' Dawg Pound. Some on social media have also suggested that it could be a dig at the way he was required to play in Cleveland head coach Kevin Stefanski's offensive system.

While Mayfield said he wasn't responsible for the t-shirts, many in Cleveland took notice. In addition to Johnson, Browns All-Pro defensive end Myles Garrett -- who sacked Mayfield twice on Sunday -- took a not-so-subtle jab at his former teammate.

"The tone was set with the attitude of some of the guys on the other side," Garrett said with a smile in his postgame press conference, before adding of the pregame banter, "It had us a bit off the leash."
