Ever wanted to have your child learn football from one of the best? You'll have your chance next month!
Browns quarterback Baker Mayfield has scheduled his second annual youth football ProCamp for the weekend of July 24-25 at Gilmour Academy in Gates Mills. The event returns this summer after being canceled by the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020.
Mayfield himself will direct the camp and will be joined by several youth, high school, and college coaches from around the area. Boys and girls of all skill levels from grades 1-8 are welcome, and CDC health protocols will be in place (kids under 12 are still not eligible to be vaccinated.
The first Baker ProCamp took place in 2019 at (appropriately) Mayfield High School. The former No. 1 overall draft pick gave tips and face time to dozens of kids in attendance, and even signed more than a few autographs.
Tickets for this year's camp are $299, and kids will receive t-shirts, autographs from and photos with Baker, and a chance at additional souvenir upgrades. Due to social distancing guidelines, attendance will be more limited.
