BEREA, Ohio — The injury bug in Berea continues to mount for the Cleveland Browns.
Rookie Grant Delpit was reportedly backpedaling in position drills when he went down to the ground grabbing his calf and his Achilles.
The Browns safety was seen pounding the ground in frustration before being carted off the practice field.

Delpit was expected to crack the starting lineup and make an impact immediately with his ball-hawking skills. But now, the Browns will have to wait to see how serious this injury is.
Unfortunately, this is not the first major injury the team has dealt with since training camp started.
Linebacker Mack Wilson will be out for an extended period of time, if not the entire season, with a hyperextended knee.
Pro Bowl running back Nick Chubb was placed into concussion protocol after taking a high hit from Mack Wilson. (Chubb did return to practice on Saturday)
The Browns also lost cornerback Kevin Johnson due to a lacerated liver last week.
Cleveland selected LSU safety Grant Delpit with the No. 44 pick of the 2020 NFL Draft.
The winner of the 2019 Jim Thorpe Award, which is presented to the nation's top defensive back, Delpit tallied 65 tackles, 4.5 of which came for a loss and 2 sacks, 7 pass defenses and 2 interceptions during the Tigers' run to College Football Playoff championship.
The Browns open their season two weeks from this Sunday in Baltimore against the Ravens. It was already going to be a tough matchup playing against last year's MVP Lamar Jackson. But now, the task just got a little taller with another setback to the Browns defense.
