CLEVELAND — The Cleveland Browns waited until the third round of the 2022 NFL Draft to make a selection, but that doesn't mean they came up short on new players to add to the mix going into offseason camps.
The Browns selected 9 players through rounds 3-7 including a day two trade of CB Troy Hill that sent him back to the Rams (who he spent 5 years with before coming to the Browns for one year in 2021) for a 2023 fifth-round pick.
It seems unlikely that 9 rookies will end up making the team when the Browns break camp for game one of the 2022-2023 season given the postseason expectations the team inherited after trading for the controversial but ultra talented Deshaun Watson in March.
However, that doesn't mean the rookie additions end with the draft. Here is a list of players the Browns have signed as undrafted free agents after the draft concluded:
Offense:
- QB-Felix Harper
- WR-Isaiah Weston
- WR-Travell Harris
- WR-Mike Harley Jr.
- TE-Malik Smith
- TE-Zaire Mitchell-Paden
- OL-Brock Hoffman
- OL-Ben Petrula
Defense:
- LB-Silas Kelly
- S-D'Anthony Bell
- CB-Julius Faulk
- CB-Shaun Jolly
- DT-Roderick Perry II
- DT-Glen Logan
Former Kent State Golden Flashes QB and 2021 MAC Player of the Year Dustin Crum went undrafted as nine quarterbacks were selected throughout the draft. Crum signed as an undrafted free agent with the Kansas City Chiefs last night first reported by 3News' Nick Camino.
