Kevin Stefanski: Nick Chubb, Demetric Felton out Sunday after testing positive for COVID-19

Stefanski also confirmed during media hours that John Kelly will not play.

CLEVELAND — Just days after several Cleveland Browns players reportedly tested positive for COVID-19, head coach Kevin Stefanski has confirmed that at least three of the team's running backs will not play in Sunday's game against the New England Patriots.

During media hours Friday, Stefanski confirmed that Nick Chubb, Demetric Felton, and reserve RB John Kelly, will miss the game against Bill Belichick's team. ESPN's Adam Schefter reported earlier this week that both Chubb and Felton are vaccinated.

By process of elimination, D'Ernest Johnson- currently the team's only active running back- will play Sunday.

Both the Browns and the Patriots hold 5-4 records going into Sunday. The game will kick off at 1 p.m. in New England.
