College Football Bowl Season, NFL Week 16 Gambling Picks: Chalk Talk

On the 16th episode of WKYC's Chalk Talk, Ben Axelrod discusses and makes his picks for the first bowl weekend and Week 16 of the NFL season.

Each week this football season, WKYC's Nick Camino and Ben Axelrod are breaking down the week's action in both college football and the NFL from a gambling perspective in a new digital show called "Chalk Talk." 

The show is available on WKYC.com, YouTube and in an audio podcast format, including on iTunes and Google Play.

In episode 16, Nick (41-37-4 overall, 19-18-3 college, 22-19-1 NFL) is on vacation, so Ben (44-41-3 overall, 18-23-2 college, 26-18-1 NFL) takes a look back at their picks from episode 15 and make his picks for the following College Football bowl games:

  • SMU (-3.5) vs. Florida Atlantic (Boca Raton Bowl)
  • Arkansas State (-2.5) vs. Florida International (Camellia Bowl)

As well as the following Week 16 NFL games:

  • Tampa Bay Buccaneers (+3) vs. Houston Texans
  • Tennessee Titans (+3) vs. New Orleans Saints
  • Philadelphia Eagles (+2.5) vs. Dallas Cowboys
  • Atlanta Falcons (-7.5) vs. Jacksonville Jaguars
  • New York Jets (+3) vs. Pittsburgh Steelers
  • Cleveland Browns (+10.5) vs. Baltimore Ravens
