CLEVELAND HEIGHTS, Ohio β The festivities are continuing in Northeast Ohio ahead of Super Bowl Sunday as the focus is on the Cleveland Heights' brothers Travis and Jason Kelce.
Cleveland Heights High School lit up the east pillar and the north/east clock tower to represent the Kansas City Chiefs and Philadelphia Eagles ahead of Super Bowl LVII, which will take place on Sunday in Glendale, Arizona.
The center of the clock tower remained gold, representing Cleveland Heights.
Amidst a busy week preparing for what is being coined as the "Kelce Bowl," Travis, the star tight end for the Kansas City Chiefs, took to Twitter to show some love to his alma mater and Northeast Ohio.
Earlier this week, Jason, the 2022 All-Pro center for the Philadelphia Eagles, discussed his time growing up in Northeast Ohio during Super Bowl Opening Night.
"Cleveland Heights is such a beautifully unique area. Itβs got incredible diversity of culture, incredible diversity of income. You kind of get a great grasp of a lot of different things in this country growing up there. We were truly blessed to go there, to go to school at Cleveland Heights High School. We loved growing up in the Heights."
Cleveland Heights High School is coordinating many events that will take place leading up to the Super Bowl, including the following:
