CLEVELAND — Cleveland Heights native and Kansas City Chiefs superstar Travis Kelce will return to Northeast Ohio this weekend to participate in the 2024 David Njoku Celebrity Softball Game.
The Lake County Captains, who will host the charity event at Classic Auto Group Park in Eastlake on Saturday, announced Kelce's participation on Wednesday.
Kelce, fresh off a third Super Bowl victory with the Chiefs, will join a celebrity roster that includes a host of Njoku's Cleveland Browns teammates as well as several social media influencers, musicians and athletes.

Other guests include Browns stars Myles Garrett, Nick Chubb, and Macedonia native Denzel Ward, as well as Pittsburgh Steelers tight end Pat Freiermuth, former Dallas Cowboys star Dez Bryant, WWE wrestlers Johnny Gargano and Candice LeRae, and Browns legend Bernie Kosar. See the full roster here.
While the tight end's nine Pro Bowl appearances and three Super Bowl rings are reason enough for Kelce to headline the event, the Cleveland Heights native has seen his star profile rise worldwide courtesy of his relationship with pop megastar Taylor Swift. Kelce will also be seen on the silver screen as a cast member of Ryan Murphy's upcoming horror drama "Grotesquerie" on FX, and as host of Amazon Prime's "Are You Smarter Than a Celebrity?"
