PARIS, France — Ohio swimmer Hunter Armstrong -- who is a native of Dover -- is set to compete in the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris in two events: the 4x100m freestyle relay and the 100m backstroke.
Armstrong, 23, attended Dover High School and Ohio State University.

When asked for his prediction in Paris after qualifying in Indianapolis last month, Armstrong made a quick joke referencing an iconic skit from Saturday Night Live.
“I think we definitely want that world record,” Armstrong said. “But most importantly… We need more cowbell.”
This isn't Armstrong's first trip to the Olympics. Back in 2021, he won a gold medal during the games in Tokyo.
