CLEVELAND — If you're a Cleveland Browns fan, you probably know of UK podcast host Paul Brown, seen all over social media traveling across the US to attend NFL games and cheer on the brown and orange.
Now, he's taking his travels to Poland and Ukraine with donation money largely collected from his Cleveland fanbase, in order to help refugees and Ukrainian military as they both flee from and fight against Russian invasion.
Brown talks with me on the 3 Things to Know podcast about what he's seen with his own two eyes in Poland, where NPR reports 100,000 Ukrainian refugees are arriving every day. Brown shares why he's motivated to help these people, how he's feeling ahead of attempting to reach the front lines in Ukraine with much-needed medical supplies, and how he'd like Browns owners Jimmy and Dee Haslam to get involved.
Plus, I share what you Need to Know in NEO if you want to provide support for our Ukrainian friends through Brown's gofundme campaign as well as through local initiatives, and how to connect with Paul Brown on social media, on Twitter and Instagram.
