CUYAHOGA COUNTY, Ohio — After it was closed for several hours Friday morning, all lanes of I-71 North have reopened as of 9:30 a.m. between I-480 and West 150th Street.

This incident also caused the closure of entrance ramps from I-480 to I-71 North, but those have also reopened.

While ODOT has not provided any specific details about the crash, a traffic camera showing I-71 North from West 140th Street appeared to show something spilled on the interstate.

The Cleveland Fire Department tweeted that HazMat had responded to the scene.

This situation is among two separate incidents that sparked closures along I-71 North early Friday morning.

ODOT had previously reported that all lanes of I-71 North were also closed at Bagley Road because of a crash. That closure has since been cleared.

In an unrelated incident 24 hours earlier, I-71 North was closed between Route 3 and Route 303 in Medina County due to a deadly crash in which one person was killed.
