LAKE COUNTY, Ohio — Lake County officials say that I-90 is officially reopen tonight after an accident caused major traffic issues along the highway.
According to a Facebook post made by the Lake County Sheriff's Office around 10 p.m., all lanes on I-90 are back open after two lanes on I-90 W were closed.
"I 90 WB BOTH LANES BLOCKED DUE TO ACCIDENT AT 198.2 MM AVOID AREA UNTIL CLEARED," Lake County Sheriff Frank Leonbruno said in a post around 6 p.m.
Responses on social media indicate that the mile marker in question impacts the general vicinity of Painesville, Mentor, and Concord.
