GARFIELD HEIGHTS, Ohio — Traffic was backed up for miles on Interstate 480 westbound following a crash in Garfield Heights Thursday morning.
According to the Ohio Department of Transportation, the incident occurred just beyond the State Route 14 (Broadway Avenue) exit. The left two lanes were shut down from that point all the way to Transportation Boulevard and East 98th Street.
Details regarding how the crash occurred or possible injuries are not known at this time. Cars on the highway were bumper-to-bumper back towards Route 8, but the scene has since been cleared.
