CLEVELAND — Be careful out there!
The National Weather Service has issued an Air Quality Advisory due to “fine particles” within multiple counties throughout Northeast Ohio, citing that levels “will be unhealthy for sensitive groups.”
The advisory is set to expire late Wednesday night.
“If you are in the sensitive groups category of children, the elderly and those with breathing difficulties, please monitor your outdoor activity and check air quality readings at airnow.gov,” according to details from the National Weather Service.
The impacted counties under the Air Quality Alert include:
- Cuyahoga
- Geauga
- Lake
- Lorain
- Medina
- Portage
- Summit
As a result of the air quality concerns, residents are asked to refill their car's gas tank after sunset and wait to mow the lawn.
This weather alert comes after a Dense Fog Advisory impacted a majority of the region earlier Wednesday morning.
