CLEVELAND — With another snow storm set to slam Northeast Ohio this week, Cleveland is bracing for round two leaving some residents with big concerns.
When brutal weather barrels through, residents on the west side near Barber and West 32nd Street, were disappointed by the city's response.
"This should already be clean by now and its just horrible here. You've got to be careful where you walk," said Cleveland resident Joshua Gonzales.
Residents tell us, they have maybe seen a plow pass through twice this winter season. Meanwhile, the city's new plow tracker map is still down and not working just two days ahead of another major snowstorm.
Cleveland resident, Juan Lis Rivera said, "We couldn't get out. We just couldn't go no where. The snow was like up to my knees."
Earlier today, Mayor Justin Bibb re-iterated the City's new snow removal plan.
"We're using every resource and asset we can to keep our main streets plowed, keep our secondary streets plowed and our residential streets plowed but again I would ask for patience because snow plows can only move as quickly as they possibly can," Mayor Bibb said.
During the Cleveland City Council meeting Monday evening, Ward Seven City Councilwoman Stephany Howse sent a message.
"Hopefully it won't be as bad as predicted but even if it is, prayerfully we are doing what we can to work with each other, help each other and know we have to be in partnership," Howse said.
She added, "it's not exclusively the city or residents or property owners, it's all of us working together."
A message that resonates with members of the community as well.
"What can we do? Just try to do our best and help each other out get out of here the best way we can," Rivera said.
