What is closed, canceled across Northeast Ohio following severe storm damage

3News is tracking event cancellations and closures across Northeast Ohio following last night's severe storms.

CLEVELAND — Following last night's severe storms in Northeast Ohio, many communities are cleaning up. 

As a result of storm damage and oncoming inclement weather, many events have been canceled across the region for Thursday.

3News has compiled a list of cancellations and closures in Northeast Ohio. This list will continue to be updated throughout the day. 

Cuyahoga County 

Cleveland Metroparks Zoo

  • "Due to weather, Cleveland Metroparks Zoo is temporarily closed. The Asian Lantern Festival is cancelled August 24 and 25."

Cleveland Browns Training Camp

  • The Cleveland Browns' last day of training camp will be closed to the public due to the oncoming inclement weather and lightning. 

Tennis in the Land 

  • Morning play at Tennis in the Land in Cleveland has been suspended until further notice.

Morning play has been delayed until further notice.

Lorain County Fair 

  • Due to the storms, flooding, closed roads and damage, the fair is closed for Thursday. All events scheduled for Thursday have been canceled, including the Junior Fair Auction.

Bash on the Bay

  • Bash on the Bay was canceled for Thursday due to "unprecedented storm damage and flooding." Luke Bryan was among several performers set to take the stage at Put-in-Bay on Thursday.

African Safari Wildlife Park 

  • The African Safari Wildlife Park is closed today due to debris following last night's storm. Officials say that all of the animals are safe. 

Erie County 

Cedar Point Shores Waterpark 

  • The waterpark will not open on Thursday due to weather conditions.
