CLEVELAND — Following last night's severe storms in Northeast Ohio, many communities are cleaning up.
As a result of storm damage and oncoming inclement weather, many events have been canceled across the region for Thursday.
3News has compiled a list of cancellations and closures in Northeast Ohio. This list will continue to be updated throughout the day.
Cuyahoga County
- "Due to weather, Cleveland Metroparks Zoo is temporarily closed. The Asian Lantern Festival is cancelled August 24 and 25."
Cleveland Browns Training Camp
- The Cleveland Browns' last day of training camp will be closed to the public due to the oncoming inclement weather and lightning.
Tennis in the Land
- Morning play at Tennis in the Land in Cleveland has been suspended until further notice.
Lorain County
Lorain County Fair
- Due to the storms, flooding, closed roads and damage, the fair is closed for Thursday. All events scheduled for Thursday have been canceled, including the Junior Fair Auction.
Ottawa County
- Bash on the Bay was canceled for Thursday due to "unprecedented storm damage and flooding." Luke Bryan was among several performers set to take the stage at Put-in-Bay on Thursday.
African Safari Wildlife Park
- The African Safari Wildlife Park is closed today due to debris following last night's storm. Officials say that all of the animals are safe.
Erie County
Cedar Point Shores Waterpark
- The waterpark will not open on Thursday due to weather conditions.
