CLEVELAND — The National Weather Service out of Pittsburgh has allowed a tornado warning for portions of Carroll and Tuscarawas counties in Northeast Ohio to expire at 5:30 p.m.
Gnadenhutten and Mill Township were among the communities within the zone of concern. Other areas impacted include Tuscarawas, Leesville, and Bowerston.
The "severe thunderstorm" was first spotted near Uhrichsville around 5:05 p.m. headed east. 3News meteorologist Matt Wintz said the main concern was the potential for strong wind, along with possible hail in size of 3/4 of an inch.
