CLEVELAND — After Peter Frampton was revealed as one of the 2024 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductees Sunday night, he took to social media to share his gratitude for receiving the big honor.
“This is something I never expected,” Frampton shared on his Facebook page. “I am overwhelmed that I will be inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, especially alongside so many incredible artists who have gone before me. I can’t thank everyone enough for voting for me. You are the best. Somebody pinch me please!!”
This was Frampton's first time being nominated for induction.
Frampton will officially join the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame when the 2024 induction ceremony is held in Cleveland at Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse on Saturday, Oct. 19. The 2024 class, which features 16 inductees, also includes Dave Matthews Band, Cher, Mary J. Blige, Jimmy Buffett, Dionne Warwick and more.
