CLEVELAND — Our frontline and essential workers have been true inspirations and are the ultimate heroes of the pandemic. Since last March, these incredible people have provided comfort, needed services and stability, while risking their safety, sacrificing time with their families – and, dedicating countless hours to help others.
Now, it’s our turn to say thank you. We want to honor a very special female frontline or essential worker in our community in an upcoming feature. 3News Special Contributor Emily Mayfield will share their story, and pay tribute to the work they’ve done over the last year.
Self-care is so important in times like these, and so we also want to give back to that special someone who gave so much to others last year. We’re partnering with Revital Med Spa, Sacred Hour Wellness Spa, and Westpark Beauty Salon to offer the ultimate day of healing treatments. We know our essential workers haven’t had much time to spend on themselves, and more than ever, they deserve to enjoy the healing and relaxing benefits of facials, massages, and hair treatments.
So, do you know an amazing female frontline worker? We’re looking for submissions! Help us treat an amazing frontline or essential worker in your life to a very special day of pampering to kick off this new year.
Please email pamper@wkyc.com to nominate – and tell us about her job, her dedication over the last year and why she should be recognized. Please include your email, phone number and a photo of the woman you are nominating.
