COPLEY, Ohio — Another location on “Restaurant Hill” in Copley has closed its doors as an official with Hooley House tells 3News they stopped operations at their location at 145 Montrose West Ave. on Sunday, March 3.
The Hooley House closure comes just days after the nearby Outback Steakhouse also closed their doors.
The Hooley House site also confirms news of the closure with the following message:
This location is closed.
It was a pleasure serving you.
Please visit our other locations to get your Hooley on.
“Our lease was coming up for renewal and have been unable to reach agreement on terms,” Hooley House co-founder Ward Lawson tells 3News in an e-mail. “We had a staff of 35 full and part time team members and offered employment at one of our other locations and added an additional week pay to their last check.”
We’re told the company is currently searching for new locations in the area for development.
"We have many fond memories of serving the local community and working with many great people from the area," Lawson says. "Our appreciation goes out to our valued patrons, team members and vendors for their support and service."
The Hooley House has locations in Brooklyn, Mentor, Strongsville and Westlake.
