CLEVELAND — A 15-year-old girl is dead after suffering a gunshot wound.
At approximately 2:30 p.m. on Friday, October 28, officers responded to a call about a suspicious vehicle in the 3700 block of West 22nd Street in Cleveland.
When officers arrived at the scene, they found a female victim inside of the vehicle with a gunshot wound.
She was pronounced dead at the scene.
A 16-year-old boy was identified as a suspect after an initial investigation of the incident. He was arrested and taken into custody.
He is currently being housed at the Cuyahoga County Juvenile Detention Center.
The incident remains under investigation by the Cleveland Division of Police.
