AKRON, Ohio — An 18-year-old male was found fatally shot in apparent homicide in Akron on Monday morning.
According to the Summit County Medical Examiner, Akron Police and EMS were dispatched to a parking lot in the 1000 block of Lover’s Lane for an unresponsive male at approximately 11:20 a.m. on Monday. Upon arrival, emergency personnel located a male victim with a gunshot wound to the chest. He was pronounced dead at 11:41 a.m.
The victim has yet to be identified and an autopsy is scheduled for Tuesday.
