MAPLE HEIGHTS, Ohio — Two people are dead following a shooting Saturday afternoon in Maple Heights, and the hunt is on to find the perpetrators.
Police say the incident occurred near the intersection of Gardenview Drive and Mayville Avenue, where two men were shot inside a car just before 1:15 p.m. One of the victims died at the scene, while a second later succumbed to his injuries at Cleveland Clinic's Marymount Hospital. Their identities are not known at this time.
Authorities processed the scene and took possession of the vehicle, but are still searching for possible suspects. The department did release a photo of three individuals walking in the area, saying they believe the trio may have witnesses the shooting.
