CLEVELAND — A 39-year-old man was fatally shot on Denison Avenue in Cleveland early Monday morning.
According to Cleveland Police, officers responded to 8405 Denison Ave. at 4:23 a.m. following a Shotspotter alert. Upon arrival, officers located the victim unresponsive and down in the street.
Officers provided aid until the arrival of EMS, with the victim being pronounced dead on the scene.
According to police, a preliminary investigation determined that the victim was shot in the face by a suspect who was traveling in a vehicle. A suspect vehicle was identified and a 34-year-old man was arrested in connection with the incident.
An investigation remains ongoing.
