CLEVELAND — A 41-year-old man was fatally shot at a house in Cleveland on Tuesday night.
According to Cleveland Police, officers responded to 3179 W. 54th Street at approximately 11:40 p.m. for a report of a man shot. Upon arriving, officers found the victim on the floor in the kitchen with a gunshot wound to his chest.
Officers rendered aid to the victim until EMS arrived to transport him to Metro. He was later pronounced deceased.
A preliminary investigation revealed that a 21-year-old male suspect and the victim were involved in an altercation at the residence, with the suspect shooting the victim before fleeing. No arrests have been made at this time and an investigation remains ongoing.
