AKRON, Ohio — The Akron Police Department is investigating the shooting death of a 43-year-old man.
Police officers responded to a call in the area of Buchtel Avenue and Chapel Drive on Saturday morning, at approximately 7:40 a.m.
When police and EMS arrived on the scene, they found an man unresponsive with multiple gunshot wounds. According to Police, he was pronounced dead on the scene.
The man was later identified as Brian Powers.
