Bond for Gus Blavos was set at $10,000, with a pretrial hearing set for March 4. Earlier this month, Blavos was indicted by a Cuyahoga County grand jury on a felony charge of failure to stop after an accident, plus a misdemeanor charge of vehicular homicide.

The Cleveland Division of Police says the incident happened in the 3700 block of West 130th Street at around 9 p.m. on Dec. 16.

Cassandra Fear, 41, was struck by another vehicle after exiting her vehicle after hitting a parked vehicle. She was pronounced dead at the scene by EMS.

Last year, 3News featured Fear in a story about the closing of her business "Fear's Confections" in Lakewood.
