AKRON, Ohio — Rochelle Paul, 38, was found guilty in the murder and felonious assault of Sarah Stubbs Wednesday in an Akron courtroom.
The incident in which Rochelle Paul was convicted today took place on January 13, 2021. Paul stabbed Stubbs approximately 15 times with scissors and a knife causing injuries that lead to Stubbs' death.
Prior to succumbing to her injuries, Stubbs was able to tell police that Rochelle Paul had stabbed her.
Judge Alison Breaux sentenced Paul to 15 years to life in prison after the guilty verdicts were announced.
