CONNEAUT, Ohio — Authorities are asking for the public's help as their investigation continues regarding an arson fire at the former Golden Anchor restaurant at 1003 Harbor Street in Conneaut, which happened back on Feb. 8.
Mutual aid from surrounding fire departments fought the blaze alongside Conneaut firefighters.
The fire caused the building to be a total loss.
State fire investigators, city investigators and agents from the FBI have determined the situation was arson.
A $5,000 reward is being offered through the Blue Ribbon Arson Committee for information leading to the arrest and conviction of whomever is responsible for this fire.
