SUMMIT COUNTY, Ohio — Police in Bath Township are asking for the public’s help with information connected to a hit-and-run driver who reportedly left the scene of a crash in which a pedestrian was struck.
In a Facebook post Wednesday morning, Bath police say the incident happened last week on Jan. 11 in the area of Cleveland-Massillon Road and Tee Drive around 6:45 a.m.
The pedestrian who was struck sustained serious injuries in the crash. The vehicle involved allegedly left the scene before police arrived.
Witnesses described the suspect’s vehicle as a dark-colored SUV or truck with “unique” tail lights, according to police.
