CLEVELAND — A 13-year-old boy has been arrested by Cleveland police in connection to a string of vehicle break-ins.
At approximately 2 a.m. on Sunday, October 29, The Cleveland Division of Police received several phone calls about suspicious activity in the East 14th Street and Carnegie Road area.
When officers arrived to the scene, they opened an investigation in which they found multiple vehicles broken into and a vehicle had been stolen.
Officers located the stolen vehicle a short time later in the area. When officers attempted to approach the vehicle, the suspects attempted to flee on foot.
A 13-year-old has since been arrested in connection to the incident. He was in possession of a stolen gun that was taken from one of the vehicles broken into earlier that day.
The Cleveland Division of Police is asking for the public's help in identifying and locating other suspects.
