LORAIN, Ohio — Police in Lorain confirm they are investigating two separate homicides that both took place Saturday morning.
The first incident took place around 3:30 a.m. on the 3200 block of Eagle Avenue, where witnesses reported hearing gunshots fired. Officers found 38-year-old Robert Gonzalez lying in the street, and he was later pronounced dead at Mercy Health Hospital.
Less than seven hours later, authorities performed a welfare check at a home on the 600 block of West 36th Street and noticed signs of gunfire. Inside, they found two people -- 41-year-old Marlena Taylor and 34-year-old Jeffery Moore -- both dead, and officials say they are "not currently seeking a suspect in this matter."
No arrests have been made in either case. Anyone with information is asked to immediately call the Lorain Police Department's detective bureau at (440) 204-2105.
