Police in Maple Heights are investigating after a Lyft driver reported being carjacked at gunpoint early Wednesday morning.
It happened around 4 a.m. Maple Heights Police say the victim reported taking two male suspects from a house to the 17800 block of Waterbury Ave. When the victim stopped the vehicle, he says the two men pulled out a gun and hit the victim in the head with it.
The suspects then took the Lyft driver's vehicle, a blue 2016 Subaru Outback. Officers from other agencies later chased the vehicle before losing sight of it and calling off their pursuits.

Maple Heights police say they are searching for two men in their early 20s. Both suspects were armed, and it is believed that the two of them may have committed additional crimes in other cities throughout the evening prior to the carjacking. Police say the men should be considered armed and dangerous.
