ORRVILLE, Ohio — A 17-year-old boy was taken into custody Monday in connection with an alleged threat directed at Orrville High School.
Police say the teen is not a student at the school, but allegedly admitted to making the threat when he was located and questioned by authorities.
In details released Tuesday morning, Orrville police say the teen “indicated he had no intention of harming anyone and did not plan to carry out any acts of violence."
The teen was taken to the Juvenile Attention Center.
No additional details were immediately available.
