MANSFIELD, Ohio — An unidentified person was fatally shot in Mansfield on Sunday evening.
A shot spotter activation alerted officers to 10 gunshots in the area of 20 Dunbilt Ct. at approximately 6:52 p.m. Upon arrival, officers located a victim who had sustained gunshot wounds at the rear of 8 Dunbilt Ct.
The victim later succumbed to their injuries after being transported to Ohio Health Mansfield.
The shooting took place in front of 19 Dunbilt Ct. The victim proceeded to flee behind the residence at 8 Dunbilt Ct.
