CANTON, Ohio — Canton police are searching for a man who robbed two store clerks at gunpoint last week.
Canton police say that on January 17, 2023, at 7:35 a.m., they were called to Bell Stores at 3812 Cleveland Avenue N.W. to investigate an armed robbery.
Store personnel told police that a masked man wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, grey pants, and white shoes pointed a gun at the clerk and demanded money from the cash register. The suspect ran from the store after getting the money.
The next day around 5:30 a.m., the same man robbed a clerk at gunpoint at the Circle K 2535 Fulton Road N.W. He took off on foot after he got the cash.
Canton police is asking anyone with information regarding these armed robberies to call Canton Police Detective M. Walker at (330)-438-4423. Anonymous tips can be sent through Tip411 or the Stark County Crime Stoppers.
