BROOKLYN, Ohio — A student has been arrested for threats made against Brooklyn City Schools on social media.
An initial investigation into a threat made on social media on August 25 yielded a person of interest, according to the Brooklyn Police Department. Upon further investigation, it was determined that the same person was responsible for a second threat towards the schools.
A Brooklyn City Schools student was arrested Wednesday and is currently awaiting charges in the Cuyahoga County Juvenile Court. Brooklyn police officials say there is "no reason to believe that a continued safety concern exists related to these threats."
The incident remains under investigation.
